Through continual research into primary causes of ailments,
we have been able to identify and develop herbal remedies to assist the human body to fight against HIV/AIDS and to prevent
the causes of these life- threatening diseases. These herbal remedies we have subjected to orthodox clinical studies and they
have proven, in a number of cases, more effective and tolerable than orthodox alternatives.

is integrated with HIV/AIDS control programmes as well as all other aspects of development policy.
The newly established ministerial committee on traditional medicine of the Southern African Development Community (SADC)

The decision to observe a Traditional Medicine Day was made by African health ministers in 2000 as part of a strategy to
boost traditional medicine in national health systems.
In 2001, the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) declared 2001-2010 as the Decade for African Traditional Medicine. African
countries have since been developing both research programmes on traditional remedies and legislation regulating their use.
